Consultant Psychiatrists
Why see a psychiatrist?
Psychiatrists are specialist doctors with a minimum of 13 years of training. General medical knowledge forms the foundation of their training with further experience seeing a wide range of complex mental disorders consolidating their role as an expert in mental health. Psychiatrists are uniquely placed to look at all aspects of your mental health, and provide a holistic and informed treatment plan that can help you through your mental health difficulties.

Psychiatrists can offer assessment, therapy, lifestyle support, as well as medication treatment.
Referrals and Bookings
We see patients between 18 and 65. We do require GP referrals through ERMS or Healthlink for all initial appointments. This is to ensure that we have a holistic understanding of your needs and so that there is a seamless transition back to your GP when you no longer require our services! Once your GP has made a referral, we will email you with further instructions on how to book and what you need to do prior to ensure you get the most out of the appointment.

Private psychiatric services - our hourly rate is $600
General Psychiatric Consultation
60 to 90 minutes for an initial consultation, 30 to 60 minutes for follow-ups
ADHD Assessments
60 minutes for an initial consultation, and 30 minutes for follow-up. Includes 30 minutes to gather collateral from main support person (which can be combined into initial consultation if support person comes in with you). In rarer circumstances with complex histories, further general appointments may be required. An assessment does not necessarily result in a diagnosis.
